Our ink contains particles of a magnetic substance, a single character (A hyphen) which is printed on the original packaging or label already in use. The installation of two small magnets that can be placed at any stage of the packaging process (Even a simple label printer already in use can be equipped with these magnets), allows the magnetization of the hyphen.
The built-in magnetic charge will remain unchanged only if the cold chain is not interrupted. In such a case, a reader will detect the change and transfer the obtained data (maximum temperature, exposure time, etc.) to a database.
The hyphen (Blueline quality assurance technology)- is printed with ink containing magnetic nanoparticles immersed in a fluid frozen as a block into a specific position.
If the cold chain is interrupted, the fluid is thawed and the nanoparticles misaligned altering the magnetic charge of the sensors. This loss of magnetization cannot be recovered even if the cold chain is restored.
