HOW DOES IT WORK?
It is quite simple and easy to use. After applying the label on the stock that will be monitored, just guide it through a magnetic field created by two magnets during the packaging phase in order to activate the heat sensitive ink and begin the temperature checking control.
This magneticity won’t be permanent, in fact, it can be lost during the distribution stage if the stock loses optimum temperature; a raise above established temp limits will be recorded in the label through the basis of the thermal inertia and heat-sensitivity of the specific stock, with this the quality of the cold-chain can be assessed and monitored in the hopes of fixing any mistakes or interruptions along the cold chain.
The smart label is scanned by a special label reader (a pen) that delivers the data gathered by the dash, via any mobile device, to an online database that identifies the barcode and the type of merchandise.
